The North Hagerstown High School MUN team is hosting TriMUN III

TriMUN is an official MUN conference for schools in the Tri-State Area for both middle and high school students.

TriMUN III will be at North Hagerstown High School, 1200 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
Bus parking area has not been confirmed yet.

Registration Information

To Register you will need to fill out the form below. ALL PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE REGISTRATION TABLE ON CONFERENCE DAY.

Lunch is not provided. Delegates will have the option to buy it individually for $10 or bring their own. Any food allergies or dietary restrictions will be taken into account.

What is the annual topic, and where can I find information?

This year, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting a tri-lingual conference! Our English, Spanish, and French committees will be focused on Sustainable Development Goals 6 and 14, Clean Water and Sanitation and Life Below Water. All background guides are linked below, as well as a Google Sheet with available countries. Note that available countries are updated frequently, but please register listing multiple countries in case that country has been taken.

Position Paper Requirements

POSITION PAPERS ARE DUE ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 17th AT 11:59PM. If there are issues with meeting the deadline, please contact Angela Akamine at "akamiang@wcps.k12.md.us". The link to the position paper submission form is below:

  • Committee Language+Name (ex. "French General Assembly")
  • Committee Topic
  • Country Name
  • Optional: Country Flag

DO NOT INCLUDE ANY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION IN THE HEADING OR BODY OF PAPER (ex. school, name, etc.)

Formatting:

  • One-Inch Margins
  • 1 or 1.15 Spacing
  • Times New Roman, Size 10-12

Citations:

  • MLA, APA, or Chicago with proper formatting for in-text citations
  • Works Cited/References Page MUST be included with proper formatting
